Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Geekbench Listing Appears

A Samsung handset with model number SM-N960U has paid visit to Geekbench benchmarking platform. Since the model number SM-N950U belongs to the Galaxy Note 8, it is quite evident that the new Samsung phone that appeared on Geekbench is none other than the Galaxy Note 9.

As it can be seen in the above screengrab, the Galaxy Note 9 is running on Android 8.1.0 and as expected it is fueled by Snapdragon 845 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM. Samsung had released the Galaxy S9 and S9+ with Snapdragon 845 in limited markets like the U.S., Canada and China. The other markets had received the Exynos 9810 chipset edition of the S9 duo. Hence, it seems that the Snapdragon 845 powered Note 9 could be heading to these markets. The other markets may receive its Exynos 9810 variant.

In the single-core test, the Galaxy Note 9 has scored 2190 whereas it has recorded a score of 8806 in multi-core test. The benchmarking scores of the phablet appears impressive. It is likely to sport a very similar Infinity Display design like the predecessor model and may feature the same dual cameras that are available on the Galaxy S9+. As far as the launch date of the Note 9 is concerned, it is speculated that it may get unveiled by late August this year.
