After rolling out the Marshmallow update for the Galaxy On7, it seems like Samsung is now ready to bring the Marshmallow treatment to the Galaxy On5 as well.
Earlier today, the Android 6.0.1 filmware update file for the Galaxy On5 has already appeared around the web, hinting an imminent update for the device, starting with the SM-G550FY model (India’s variant). This update will bring the build number of the device up to G550FYXXU1BPF9.
According to our tipster, this update will weigh approximately 1.12GB so do make sure you are connected to the WiFi before you begin to download the update file.
