After months of anticipation, Samsung has finally unveiled the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone in the global market where it arrives just in time to provide tough competition for several upcoming models such as the Xiaomi 12 and OnePlus 9RT.
As usual, the Galaxy S21 FE continues to put forward all the fan-favorite features from it’s flagship S series line into a more affordable package. This of course include the crisp and vibrant 6.4” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution topped with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. To sweeten the deal, the phone also features a capable 32 megapixels front-facing camera within it’s centered hole-punch compartment that captures flattering selfies.
Coming to the rear side of the phone, the Galaxy S21 FE flaunts a triple-camera array lead by a 12 megapixels (f/1.8 aperture) main camera with OIS stabilization, along with a 12 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide unit, as well as an 8 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is powered by a flagship Exynos 2100 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage in the memory department. Interestingly, it also made it’s names as the first Samsung smartphone to be shipped with the new One UI 4 based on Android 12.
Keeping it’s lights on is none other than a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 25W fast-charging and 15W wireless charging. Those who’re interested can pick the phone from four different colorways such as White, Graphite, Lavender and Olive.
In Singapore, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be available for purchase from January 11th via all major telecommunications operators, Samsung Online Store, Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Official Store in Lazada and Shopee and Major Consumer Electronics & IT Stores.
In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be priced at S$978 and S$1,048 respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB trims.
