Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with Snapdragon 720G May Debut Soon

Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in September 2020, and the next month, it unveiled the Galaxy S20 FE 4G. At the beginning of this year, the South Korean company unveiled the Galaxy S21 FE 5G. New details that have surfaced reveal that it is planning to launch a 4G version of the S21 FE.

According to GalaxyClub.nl, two online retailer listings of the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE 4G have been spotted. Both listings have revealed the key specifications and the model number of the device as SM-G990B2.

The Bluetooth SIG certification of the SM-G990B2 shows that this model number belongs to the Galaxy S21 FE. To be precise, it belongs to its 4G variant. It has been found through Bluetooth SIG certification that the device supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. To recall, the S21 FE 5G carries support for Bluetooth 5.0.

In addition, the support page for the SM-G990BA has surfaced on the website of Samsung Netherlands. These findings are a good hint that it may not take too long for the smartphone to go official.

The retailer listings of the Galaxy S21 FE 4G have revealed that it is powered by the Snapdragon 720G. The rest of the specs of the phone mentioned in the listings seem to be identical to its 5G version. The device will be equipped with a 6.4-inch display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and it will boot to Android 12 OS.

The SD720G powered device will ship with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage. It will draw power from a 4,500mAh battery. For photography, it will feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel triple camera system.
