Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones. Reports suggest that the lineup will include three models, such as the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. There have been reports that claim that the S24 lineup will be equipped with Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets in different countries. A new leak sheds information on these variants.
According to a Chinese tipster, the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24 Plus will be available with the Exynos 2400 chipsets, whereas the other regions will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy chip variant. Recent reports have revealed that Europe will be one of the markets that receive the Exynos 2400 variants.
Coming to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the leak reveals that it will be available with the Snapdragon 8 Gen for Galaxy chip in all markets. In other markets, Samsung may not launch the Exynos 2400 chip variant of the S24 Ultra.
For those who don’t know, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy is said to be an overclocked version of the chip. A number of Chinese brands, such as Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO, OnePlus, iQOO, and ZTE, are expected to announce their flagship phones this year. The new flagship phones are expected to feature the regular version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Galaxy S24 series, arriving in Q1 2024, will be the only device to feature the overclocked version of the chip, which will be dubbed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.
In related news, Samsung is said to be working on the Galaxy S23 FE with Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip variants for different markets. The smartphone may debut by late September or October this year.
