A recent report claimed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be Samsung’s first phone to feature a titanium frame. This indicates that the device will be more durable than the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which features an armor aluminium frame. However, the inclusion of a more powerful frame should increase the weight of the device. A new leak reveals that the S24 Ultra’s weight will be almost the same as the S23 Ultra.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will weigh 233 grams. This is just 1 gram less than the S23 Ultra. It is unclear how the South Korean tech giant has managed to build a more durable S24 Ultra without increasing its weight.
So far, reports have revealed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will come equipped with a new M13 OLED panel. Even its siblings, such as the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus, are expected to feature the same screen.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to retain the 12-megapixel front camera, which debuted on the S23 Ultra. It is also going to inherit the S23 Ultra’s 200-megapixel primary camera.
The rear camera setup of the phone is expected to feature a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 10-megapixel periscope zoom camera. The phone is expected to run on One UI 6-based Android 14.
The S24 Ultra will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 chipset, depending on the market. It may house a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The phone is also expected to support two-way satellite connectivity.
