As Samsung has been doing since the past few years, it is likely to launch Galaxy S9 Active smartphone. Today, a specs sheet of a mysterious phone with model number of SM-G893 has appeared. Since the Galaxy S8 Active from last year has a model number of SM-G892 and the S7 Active has a model number of SM-G981, it is speculated that the SM-G983 could be the rumored Galaxy S9 Active.
According to the specs sheet, the Galaxy S9 features a 5.8-inch display that supports QHD+ resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels which. This indicates that the handset will be housing an elongated Infinity Display that will offer an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. However, like the Galaxy S8 Active, the S9 Active may not feature dual-edge curved screen that is available on the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones.
The Galaxy S9 Active is fueled by Snapdragon 845 and 4 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 64 GB. Its 12-megapixel rear camera offers variable aperture between f/1.5 aperture and f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.7 aperture. It also includes a massive battery of 4,000mAh capacity. Like the predecessor Active models, the Galaxy S9 Active is expected to be exclusively available through AT&T in the U.S.
