Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch in July. Some variants of the Galaxy Watch 3 has received approval from the Bluetooth SIG body. Devices that bag Bluetooth certification are known to go official within a month. Hence, the Bluetooth approval of the Galaxy Watch 3 is yet another hint it may go official in the coming month.
The screenshots of the Bluetooth SIG certification of the Galaxy Watch 3 reveal model numbers such as SM-R845U, SM-R845F, SM-R845, SM-R8450, SM-R840, SM-R855U, SM-R855F, SM-R855N and SM-R850. These models are equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 support.

Recent reports have revealed that the Galaxy Watch 3 will be arriving in two models. The 45mm edition will have a 1.4-inch display and a 340mAh battery. The 41mm variant will have a 1.2-inch screen and a 270mAh battery. The screens of the Galaxy Watch 3 variants will be protected by Gorilla Glass DX.
The Tizen OS 5.5 will come preloaded on the device. It will come with support for GPS and LTE connectivity. The SoC of the device will be supported by 1 GB of RAM. It will offer users with 8 GB of built-in storage.
The Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to come with health sensors for tracking heart rate and blood pressure. It is also speculated to come with support for electrocardiogram (ECG). The Watch 3 will be a MIL-STD-810G and IP68 certified smartwatch.
