Samsung Galaxy X Foldable Smartphone to be Available in 10,000 Units?

Samsung is speculated to be working on Galaxy X foldable as it has already been approved by various agencies like Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance and National Radio Agency in South Korea. The South Korean company is rumored to manufacture only 10,000 units of the Galaxy X phone. Moreover, it is speculated to release only in South Korea.

Samsung Galaxy ,X Galaxy X1 foldable smartphone

There are some speculations on the launch of the Galaxy X foldable phone. The company may unveil it at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2018, but it may cannibalize the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship phones that are slated to get unveiled in February next year.

In September, Samsung had confirmed to the media that it will be launching a Galaxy Note foldable phone in 2018. However, it claimed that the launch would only happen if there if it is able to overcome all the technical problems associated with it. Hence, there is a possibility that the South Korean company may debut two Galaxy Note phablets in the third quarter of 2018. The first variant may feature a full-screen design like the Note 8 and the second one could be a foldable model.

As of this writing, there is no information available on its specifications. However, if it is arriving next year with flagship specs, it may be driven by Snapdragon 845.
