In this week, Max Wienbach from XDA Developers shared plenty of information on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20+ smartphone. He has also shared some information on the Galaxy Z Flip which is the second foldable phone from Samsung. The handset will be arriving in flip phone form factor. Wienbach has shared some key details on the Galaxy Z Flip.
According to Wienbach, the Galaxy Z Flip is packed with a 3,300mAh battery and it is powered by Snapdragon 855. The battery may seem small but its certainly bigger than the 2,510mAh battery present inside the Motorola Razr flip phone that was unveiled with mid-range specs at the end of 2019.
Weinbach added that the Galaxy Z Flip has an ultra-thin glass. So, the second foldable phone from the company won’t be having an entirely plastic screen like the original Galaxy Fold. In order to protect it from scratches, the South Korean company has added a plastic film on its display.
Recent reports have revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip clamshell foldable phone may feature similar specs as the Galaxy S10. When opened, the device is expected to offer users with a 6.7-inch foldable display with a tall aspect ratio. The display will be sporting an Infinity-O design that will be housing a front-facing camera of 10-megapixel.
The Galaxy Z Flip has a horizontal dual camera setup on its back. Alongside it is a secondary 1-inch screen that can be viewed for checking notifications. The 3C appearance of the phone had revealed that it could be shipping with a 15W fast charger.. Its other details are currently under the wraps. The flip phone will be debuting with Galaxy S20 series of flagship phones on Feb. 11.
