Several reports claimed that Honor is gearing up to unveil the Honor 100 lineup in China. Today, the brand confirmed that the Honor 100 and the Honor 100 Pro will be announced on Nov. 23. Shown below are the official images of both smartphones released by the brand.
Honor 100 design, specifications (rumored)
The Honor 100 has a punch-hole OLED panel with curved edges on the front and a D-shaped dual-camera module on the back. As per reports, the screen will offer a 1.5K resolution and support high-frequency dimming.
Under the hood, the device is expected to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Rumors are rife that the chip will come equipped with one 2.63GHz high-performance CPU core, three performance CPU cores working a 2.4GHz, and four efficiency GPU cores running at 1.80GHz. In addition, the 4nm chip is expected to feature the Adreno 720 graphics.
The Honor 100 is also said to house a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging. Its rear camera setup will have a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
Honor 100 Pro design, specifications (rumored)
The Honor 100 Pro has a pill-shaped camera cutout on its OLED panel. Both the standard and Pro models are expected to support the company’s Magic Capsule feature, which works like Apple’s Dynamic Island feature for notifications.
The Pro model is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Like the standard model, the Pro variant is expected to a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 2x telephoto camera, and 100W charging support.
The Honor 100 series will compete with the likes of upcoming phones, such as the Vivo S18 series and OPPO Reno 11 lineup, in the Chinese market.
