Honor has officially announced that the launch conference for the highly anticipated Honor Magic6 series flagship and the introduction of MagicOS 8.0 is scheduled for January 10th and 11th. Notably, this event will also feature the addition of Porsche Design to the Magic 6 lineup.
Honor has not confirmed any details about the Honor Magic 6 series yet. However, it is speculated to include models such as the Magic 6, the Magic 6 Pro, and the Magic 6 Porsche Design. According to reports, the Magic 6 series will have a quad-curved OLED panel with a pill-shaped camera cutout.
The Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro have both been reportedly certified by China’s 3C authority. It seems that the Magic 6 may support 66W fast charging, whereas the Magic 6 Pro may offer 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Pro model is also said to support two-way satellite communication.
Under the hood, the Magic 6 series will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This means it will rival the likes of the Xiaomi 14 series, the iQOO 12 series, the Meizu 21, the OnePlus 12, the Realme GT 5 Pro, and the Z60 Ultra in the Chinese market. it is said that the Magic 6 Pro will have an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50K primary camera.
The Magic 6 series will be the first to come preloaded with Magic OS 8.0, which is placed over the Android 14 OS. The Pro model is also said to arrive with an IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis. At present, there is no information on the price of the Magic 6 and 6 Pro.
