Save the date: Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is launching on September 25

Last week, Huawei confirmed that it would be holding a launch event on Sept. 25. It appears that the brand will use the event to formally announce the Huawei Mate 60 series and Mate X5, though they have already debuted. Today, the brand confirmed that it will also unveil the MatePad Pro 13.2 on the same platform.

As can be seen, the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 has a slim and lightweight design. The device has very thin bezels, which indicates that it will offer a very high screen-to-body ratio. The poster also reveals that its screen has a wide notch, which suggests that it could be equipped with dual front-facing cameras. In addition, it could be packed with sensors for 3D face recognition.

Huawei is yet to confirm the key specifications of the MatePad Pro 13.2. However, it is quite evident that it will be fitted with a 13.2-inch display, which will be the largest screen seen on a Huawei tablet.

The presence of the NearLink StarLight logo on the poster has sparked discussions that the tablet might incorporate StarLight connection technology. This newly introduced short-range wireless technology combines the best features of both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It offers several benefits, including a 60 percent reduction in power consumption, a sixfold increase in speed, a 1/30th decrease in latency, and enhanced support for a larger number of network connections compared to conventional wireless technologies.

Rumors are rife that the MatePad Pro 13.2 could be powered by the Kirin 9000s. Readers are advised to read further reports to learn more about Huawei’s upcoming flagship tablet. Apart from the above products, the Chinese manufacturer will also announce the Huawei Watch Ultimate Gold Edition smartwatch.
