Infinix GT 20 Pro is launching next week. Infinix’s Malaysia division confirmed the news via a teaser video on its social media platforms. Launching in Malaysia on May 2, the phone will serve as the direct successor to last year’s Infinix GT 10 Pro. ahead of the launch, the phone has leaked in full, giving insights into its key features and technical details.
Infinifx GT 20 Pro design, specifications
The leaked images of the Infinix GT 20 Pro reveal three colour options: Mecha Silver, Mecha Blue, and Mecha Orange. Similar to its predecessor, the GT 20 Pro will feature a futuristic design that draws inspiration from Cyberpunk and Mecha. Based on the teasers, it’s safe to assume the phone will have C-shaped RGB lighting at the back.
According to rumors, the Infinix GT 20 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with FHD resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. There will be a circular selfie cutout at the top, as well as an optical fingerprint scanner underneath the screen.
A dedicated visual processor in the Pixelworks X5 Turbo will drive the display. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip will handle the rest of the processing. The phone will be available in two RAM variants: 8GB and 12GB. Likewise, it will come with up to 256GB of internal storage.
The GT 20 Pro will draw power from a 5,000 mAh battery and support 45W flash charging. The primary shooter on the back will use a 108-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization. Two auxiliary lenses, whose purposes are currently unknown, will join it. There will be a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Finally, the phone will run on Android 14-based XOS U14 out of the box.
Infinix GT 20 Pro launch, pricing
The Infinix GT 20 Pro is expected to be around MYR 1,299 ($270). The phone will then make its way to India, as well as other markets in the Middle East and Asia.
