iQOO has finally confirmed the launch date of the iQOO Neo 7. The handset is all set to debut at 7 pm (local time) on Oct. 20 in China. It will be the follow-up to the iQOO Neo 6, which came out earlier this year in the home market and was powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The iQOO Neo 7 poster released by the brand gives a look at its rear design. Since the company has not revealed its front design, it appears that it will have a punch-hole display on the front like its predecessor.
The official teaser video available on the company’s Weibo handle suggests that apart from orange, it will also come in black and blue. The camera module has two cameras at the top followed by a square-shaped camera, which appears to be a periscope zoom lens. A volume rocker and a power key can be seen on the right edge of the device.
iQOO Neo 7 Specifications (Rumored)
According to reports, the iQOO Neo 7 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 screen that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will be one of the first phones to come preloaded with Android 13 OS, which will be overlaid with the OriginOS UI.
The Neo 7 is said to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V main camera on the back. Its front will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The device will house a 5,000mAh battery, which may support 100W or 120W charging.
The Neo 7 may come in three configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will be equipped with the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset..
