At the beginning of this year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 11 5G smartphone in China. Today, it was confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2 will be the next smartphone for the home market. Unlike the OnePlus 11 5G, which is a premium flagship phone, the Ace 2 will be an affordable flagship offering.
The OnePlus Ace 2 will be announced on Feb. 2 at 2:30 pm (local time) in China. The same event will also see the arrival of the OnePlus Buds Ace 2 TWS earbuds. Both devices are now available for pre-order on Chinese retailer platforms like OPPO Mall, JD.com, and Tmall.
The official renders of the Ace 2 have appeared in its pre-order listings. Here is a first look at the Buds Ace TWS earbuds. The official poster confirms that it will arrive in black and white colors. It reveals key features such as ANC support, up to 36 hours of battery life, and dynamic bass.
Speculations are rife that the Buds Ace will be rebranded as Nord Buds in the global market. As far as the Ace 2 is concerned, the device is likely to be rebranded as the OnePlus 11R 5G in India. However, there is a possibility that there could be some differences between the Ace and the 11R.
The OnePlus Ace 2 rumors have revealed that it will arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that produces a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system.
The Ace 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It is expected to come with up to 16 GB and 512 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage combinations. It will arrive with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. an alert slider, an IR blaster, a 5,000mAh battery, and 100W charging.
