OPPO has finally confirmed the launch date of the OPPO Reno 9 series, which will have three devices: the Reno 9, the Reno 9 Pro, and the Reno 9 Pro+. The company will hold its launch event at 2:30 PM (local time) on Nov. 24 in China. Dedicated pages for each of these phones, revealing their configurations and color options, are now live on the company’s official website.
The OPPO Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro listings reveal that both will be available in colors like black, gold, and gradient gold. The vanilla model will have variants, such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage.
The Reno 9 Pro and Reno 9 Pro+ will come in two variants: 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. It will be available in black, green, and gold colors.
On the design front, the Reno 9 series can be seen sporting the same AMOLED panel with curved edges and a centered punch-hole. The rear shells of the Reno 9 and 9 Pro are flat, with only raised camera rings. Both phones have a dual-camera setup. Rumors have it that the Reno 9 will feature the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, while the Reno 9 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 8100-Max SoC.
The Reno 9 Pro+ has a raised camera module with a triple camera unit inside. The Pro+ and Pro will have the MariSilicon ISP. All three phones have an IR blaster, but only the Pro+ seems to feature a dual stereo speaker system. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC.
