Following up the success of the POCO M4 series smartphones in the global market, POCO has announced that the company will be launching the next-generation’s POCO M5 series smartphones on September 5th next week.
Just like what recent reports had suggested, POCO is expected to announce a total of two models during the forthcoming launch event including the POCO M5 and M5s. Although details pertaining to the latter remain scarce, but that isn’t the case for the POCO M5 which is reportedly powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset under the hood.
Other than that, the same device had also been tipped to feature 6.58” LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution along with a large 5,000mAh battery which brings support for 33W fast wired charging.
Just like any other POCO smartphones, the upcoming model is expected to be launched in multiple memory variants such as 4/64GB, 4/128GB as well as 6/128GB. As for the details, we should be able to find out more about them via the teasers posted by the company in the next couple of days
