After launching the ROG Phone 6 series smartphones in the global market last month, ASUS has now confirmed that the company will be adding a third model dubbed as the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate on September 19th.
Although the company has yet to reveal any official details pertaining to this device, but earlier reports had suggested that this will be the most affordable model within the ROG Phone 6 series lineup.
Unlike the existing models, the upcoming ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will reportedly ditch the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset for MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000+ mobile platform which is only slightly behind the former in terms of CPU and GPU performance.
Apart from that, we might see some other minor downgrades in various departments to keep the phone within a more accessible price point. Nonetheless, we can still expect the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate to be a perfect gaming companion that packs a punch.
