Xiaomi has finally confirmed the launch date of the Xiaomi CIVI 2. The company will be announcing the smartphone at 2 pm on Sept. 27. The device will be arriving as a successor to last year’s Xiaomi CIVI 1.
The company has released the below teaser to give a glimpse of CIVI 2’s rear design. It appears that it will be an aesthetically beautiful phone aimed at the female audience.
Xiaomi has not revealed any information on the specifications of the CIVI 2. But it looks like it will confirm more information about the phone in the next few days before it comes out.
Xiaomi CIVI 2 Specifications (Rumored)
The Xiaomi CIVI 2 is likely to sport a punch-hole display with curved edges like its predecessor. It is expected to feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel that produces a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will run on the Android 12 OS, which will be overlaid with the MIUI 13.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM will be at the helm of the CIVI 2. It may pack a 4,500mAh battery that carries support for 67W fast charging. The CIVI 2 may offer up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For security, it will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The CIVI 2’s rear camera setup is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera, which will be assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it may feature a 32-megapixel front camera.
