According to a report by Mobile Today, Sony has finally moved up ahead of HTC after having a record figure of over 500,000 Android devices being sold this year. This will bring Sony to become the second largest Android manufacturer in the UK Android market. Sony’s success in the Android market is due to their intensive marketing campaigns carried out this year, which include the recent ‘James Bond’ marketing campaign for the Xperia T.
Even though Sony’s marketing campaigns has been fruitful, but they are still very far behind from their Korean competitor, Samsung, which has sold over 3.2 million devices in comparison.
