Samsung is reportedly working on its next-generation foldables, expected to launch in July this year. A new report by GalaxyClub claims that the Z Fold 7 will arrive with two major improvements in the camera department. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged via the latest Z Fold 7 leak.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 to feature the same primary camera as the Galaxy S25 Ultra

To recall, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 came equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera, whereas the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which launched later in South Korea, featured a 200-megapixel main camera. The new leak reveals that the Z Fold 7 will have the same 200-megapixel camera found on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This indicates that the device will be equipped with the Samsung HP2 primary sensor.
The report states that the rest of the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s cameras will remain the same as the previous generation. Therefore, the rear-facing 200-megapixel main camera will be joined by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera.
On the front, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a 10-megapixel cover camera. The report also mentions that the device will come with an improved under-display camera for the internal display. However, the exact megapixel count of this camera is not known yet.
In related news, Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 7 alongside the Z Fold 7. Reports suggest that the only major upgrade on the device will be a larger cover display, which may measure nearly 4 inches. Both devices are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset.
