Vivo X200 Ultra, Vivo X200 Pro Mini may launch outside China

Vivo unveiled the Vivo X200, X200 Pro Mini, and X200 Pro in China back in October 2024. Among these details, the Pro Mini edition has remained exclusive to the Chinese market. Next month, the brand is expected to unveil the X200 Ultra along with the X200S in China. Previous reports have claimed that the Ultra variant will not be released outside of the home market. However, a new report by Business World states that it will be heading to India.

Vivo is currently the number one smartphone brand in India in terms of market share. It now appears that the company aims to leverage its strong position by bringing not only the X200 Ultra and X200 Pro Mini to the Indian market. The report states that the X200 Pro has received an impressive market response, and the X200 Ultra is also likely to achieve similar success.

A previous report claimed that the X200 Pro Mini would debut in April in India. It is likely that the X200 Ultra may launch alongside it. In the country, the X200 Ultra will compete with the likes of the recently unveiled Xiaomi 15 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is not clear whether both devices will be released in other markets apart from India.

While the X200 Pro Mini features the Dimensity 9400 chipset, the X200 Ultra will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Ultra edition is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

As far as China is concerned, the April event will also bring other devices, such as the Vivo Pad 4 Pro tablet powered by the Dimensity 9400 and the Vivo Watch 5 smartwatch.
