Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra Seems to Have Appeared with Snapdragon 660

Earlier this year, Sony had launched Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra smartphone powered with Snapdragon 630 SoC. It is speculated that the Japanese tech giant may announce Xperia XA3 at the upcoming IFA 2018 tech expo to succeed the XA2 phone. Various reports have claimed that the model numbers such as H4413, H4433 and H4493 belong to the upcoming Xperia XA3 series. Today, a new Sony handset with a model number of Sony H4493 have surfaced on Geekbench.

The Sony Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra are both powered by Snapdragon 630. However, the XA2 phone features 3 GB of RAM whereas the Ultra variant has 4 GB of RAM. Since the Geekbench listing of the Sony H4493 suggests that it is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and Snapdragon 660, it is speculated that it could be the Xperia XA3 Ultra smartphone. The handset is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo OS. In the single-core test, the handset has scored 853 points and in the multi-core test, it has reached a score of 4172.

As of this writing, there is no information on the specifications of the smartphone. However, it is speculated that it could be equipped with Full HD+ resolution supporting screen that will offer an aspect ratio of 18:9. Sony may launch the Xperia XA3, XA3 Ultra and XZ3 at forthcoming IFA 2018 event at the end of this month.
