A leaked document that has supposedly surfaced from China or Taiwan has revealed the entire specifications of the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ3. The leak reveals that it will be thinner and lighter than the Xperia XZ2 and also it will be borrowing some specs from the Xperia XZ2 Premium smartphone.
The leaked document has revealed that Xperia XZ3 measures 153 x 72 x 10.1mm and weighs 183 grams. It will be coming with 5.7-inch FHD+ display that supports 18:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 845 chipset powers the phone with 6 GB of RAM. It will be arriving in 64 GB and 128 GB storage models. It will be loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo. To keep the lights on, the handset has a battery of 3,240mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 is expected to borrow Xperia XZ2 Premium’s dual camera setup that includes 19-megapixel f/2.0 aperture primary sensor and 12-megapixel f/1.6 aperture secondary sensor. Also, the XZ2 Premium’s 13-megapixel selfie snapper that has an aperture of f/2.0 will be also available on the Xperia XZ3.
Sony is known for using IFA tech trade show for unleashing new phones. Hence, it is speculated that the Xperia XZ3 may get announced at the IFA 2018 in Berlin, Germany in September this year.
