Indian smartphone marker Lava has announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Lava benco V80s. Although most company tends to boast about the camera counts on their smartphones, but Lava did it differently. The company claimed that the lack of cameras and GPS on the smartphone makes it a more privacy-centric smartphone.
The Lava benco V80s builds around a 6.5” IPS LCD display that delivers a HD+ screen resolution and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. As mentioned above, there’s no front and rear cameras on the benco V80s which means you won’t be able to click selfie or do video calls on the device.
Under the hood, the Lava benco V80s is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage in the memory department. As usual, it does supports microSD card for storage expansion as well.
To keep it’s lights on, the Lava benco V80s is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which doesn’t appears to feature any form of fast-charging solution. On the software-side, it’ll be shipped with Android 11 out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Lava benco V80s is available in both Greenish Silver and Blue colorways. However, there’s still no words on it’s official pricing and availability at the moment.
