Earlier this month, renowned leaker @onleaks had shared with us a set of near-official Huawei P40 and P40 Pro renders. Sadly, these renders didn’t reveal much details about it’s physical features and attributes.
However, thanks to a new set of renders created by @RODENT950 and 9TechEleven based on recent leaks and rumors, we’re finally able to have a more definitive look at the P40 Pro.
Let’s start with it’s front design first. As seen from the render, the P40 Pro will sport a pill-shaped, hole punched compartment on the top-left corner similar to what we’d seen on the Huawei Nova 6 and Honor V30.
The Huawei P40 Pro will be the first Huawei smartphone to feature the unique quad-curved panel that is curved at all four sides. Compared to the current P30 Pro, the new successor undoubtedly has a higher screen-to-body ratio as the top and bottom bezels were significantly reduced.
On it’s rear panel, there is a familiar camera housing which resembles that of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11. The rectangular camera module will house an impressive penta-camera setup.

The left-hand side of the camera module has a total of 3 sensors including a main snapper, ultra wide angle shooter, as well as a periscope camera which is said to be able to support up to 10x optical zoom.
On the right-hand side, there will also be a LED flash and a pair of sensors believed to be a ToF sensor and macro camera.
If nothing goes wrong, the Huawei P40 smartphone series will be announced in end of March, during an official launch event held in Paris.
