Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 with foldable displays in August 2021. It appears that the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 will be made official around the same time this year. Publications Smartprix and 91mobiles have collaborated with popular leaker OnLeaks to share CAD renders of the upcoming Galaxy foldables.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 design
The Galaxy Z Fold4 CAD renders show that its design will not be too different from the Galaxy Z Fold3. However, the leak reveals that it will have a slightly shorter and wider form factor as compared to the previous generation.
The leak states that the Z Fold4 will arrive with a 6.2-inch front display and a 7.6-inch foldable screen. The device will offer 155 x 130 x 7.1mm dimensions. To recall, the predecessor model measures 158.2 x 128.1 x 6.4mm when unfolded.
The other noticeable change on the Z Fold4 is that it has a refreshed rear camera array. It now sports three protruding camera lenses along with an LED flash. The renders show that there will be no place to store the S Pen stylus.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 design
The Galaxy Z Flip4 CAD renders show that it will resemble the Z Flip3 from the outside. However, the clamshell device will arrive with some minor changes. The device will measure around 165.1 x 71.9 x 7.2mm and will house a 6.7-inch foldable display.
Unfortunately, there is no information available on the size of the rear display. Its power button will be integrated with a fingerprint sensor. The images also show that the device will sport a dual-tone design.
