Time Travel: Here’s our first look at the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G

Last week, we got our first look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone courtesy of well-accredited leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer. Today, he’s back to wrap up his leak frenzy over the past couple of weeks with a series of CAD-based renderings that depict the expected design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A33 5G.

As seen in the renders, the Galaxy A33 5G appears to share largely the same design as the current Galaxy A32 5G. That means we’ll be looking at a familiar Infinity-U design that’s said to measure 6.4” diagonally. According to 91Mobiles, the front display is likely to be a Super AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution.

Unlike the Galaxy A32 5G which doesn’t has a camera bump on the rear side of the phone, this feature apparently makes it’s return on the Galaxy A33 5G. As usual, there will be a total of four cameras at the back whose specification remain under the wraps at the moment.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G Render -3

Just like the Galaxy A53 5G, it appears that Samsung will be ditching a 3.5mm headphone jack on the Galaxy A33 5G as well. For those who may not know, this is a feature that’s normally found among Samsung’s entry-level and mid-range devices.

Likewise, it’s also a feature which majority of users wouldn’t want to miss out on since it’ll mean users have to rely on an adapter or wireless headphone for their audio needs.

Nonetheless, the absent of a 3.5mm headphone jack is unlikely to be a game changer so long the price is right. If nothing goes wrong, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is expected to debut in January next year.
