Following the launch of the Honor Magic4 series smartphones last year, Honor is currently prepping the launch of the new Magic5 series smartphones with Honor Magic5 Lite reportedly being among the first smartphone to be launched.
Now, courtesy of Dutch publisher Winfuture, we’re finally able to get our first look at the upcoming Magic5 Lite ahead of it’s official launch. As seen from the renders, the new Magic5 Lite will be coming with subtle redesign for it’s rear camera island which appears to retain a triple-cam setup. These cameras are said to include a 64 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide unit as well as a 2 megapixels macro cam for close-ups.
Over on the front side, the phone sticks with a curve display which adopts a centered punch-hole display to accommodate a 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Speaking of the display, it’ll be a 6.67” AMOLED panel that offers a FHD+ screen resolution as well as a fast 120Hz refresh fast.
Under the hood, the Honor Magic5 Lite is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 chipset which will be paired with 6GB RAM along with 128GB onboard storage. Other than that, the phone will also be shipped with the company’s in-house Magic UI 6.1 (based on Android 12 OS) as well as a respectable 5,100mAh battery with 40W fast-charging support.
