OPPO might have just launched the OPPO A95 smartphone recently. However, that doesn’t stops the company from prepping yet another A series smartphone known as the OPPO A96 5G which might soon be launching in the Chinese market.
Courtesy of famed leaker Evan Blass, we’re now able to get our first look at the forthcoming model ahead of it’s official launch. As seen in the renders, the OPPO A96 5G appears to feature a flat display upfront which dons a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen.
Just like the Reno7 series smartphones, the OPPO A96 5G also opted for a flat frame design this time round. Somehow, the absence of a side/ rear mounted fingerprint scanner may suggests that the phone is equipped with an AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner, even though this is merely speculation on our side.
Around the back, the phone has a rectangular camera housing that features a dual-camera setup alongside a LED flash to help with low-light photography. Sad to say, there wasn’t any details with regards to it’s camera system at the moment.
Based on the leaked materials, the OPPO A96 5G would be available in a trio of colors namely Black, Pink, as well as another with a rainbow-like back panel. However, we can’t really tell from the images whether the phone would be arriving with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Hopefully, we’ll get to learn more about it’s specs and perhaps it’s official launch date in the coming weeks!
