In March, reliable tipster Evan Blass leaked the specifications of a Motorola phone codenamed Dubai+. Its official moniker is not known yet. Hence, it is being called the Motorola Edge 2022 by the rumor mill. Later in June, 91mobiles teamed up with OnLeaks to share the CAD renders of the Motorola Edge 2022. Now, the tipster has shared the press renders of the device to reveal its design from all angles.
The Motorola Edge 2020 press renders show that it has a flat display with a punch-hole positioned at the top centre. Rumors surrounding it have claimed that it is equipped with a 6.5-inch P-OLED display that produces a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. A fingerprint scanner is embedded in the Edge 2022’s screen.
The left spine of the Edge 2022 is barren, while its opposite side features a volume rocker and a power key. The back panel of the device has a triple camera unit with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support. It is likely to be accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front camera.
A microphone is lodged on the topside of the Motorola Edge 2022, whereas its bottom is populated with a speaker grille, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a SIM slot. The device is likely to house a 6,000mAh battery. However, the rumor mill is yet to leak its charging capabilities.
The unannounced Dimensity 1050 chip may power the Edge 2022. It may come with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. The device is likely to run on the My UI-based Android 12 OS. Readers can visit the source link to view other images of the device.
