Time Travel: Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ Design Revealed Months Before Launch

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S23 series in the first quarter of 2023. Like the Galaxy S22 family, the S23 lineup is expected to include three models: the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23 Plus, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. All three models have recently been certified by the 3C authority in China. In a new development, the CAD renders of the Galaxy S23 and S23+ have been released by the well-known tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer. He worked with SmartPrix and Digit to do this.

The CAD renders show that the two phones will sport an identical design. The overall appearance of the S23 and S23+ duo appears to be an improved version of what was seen on the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus.

The S22 and S22+ featured a dedicated camera island on their rear shell. Such a design is not seen on the S23 and S23+. Both phones continue to sport a triple camera unit. Each of the three cameras has protruding rings as seen on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

On the front, the Galaxy S23 and S23+ have identical designs. Both phones have a flat display with a centrally positioned punch-hole. The leak states that the Galaxy S22 measures 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6mm and houses a 6.1-inch display. On the other hand, the S23+ has a bigger 6.6-inch screen and has 157.7 x 76.1 x 76.mm dimensions.

Both phones are expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The 3C certification of both devices has suggested that they may support 25W fast charging. Recent reports say that the S23 and S23+ might have a lot of the same features as the models that came before them.
