Huawei will soon be announcing a new tablet known as the MatePad 10.4″. Although the tablet has yet to be announced, but it is already up for registrations in the Chinese market. However, speculations are rife that the tablet could debut during the upcoming Huawei Nova 7 series launch event on April 23rd.
Ahead of its official launch, a couple of Huawei MatePad 10.4″ real life images had appeared on Chinese Weibo today – showing off the front and rear design of the tablet. At the front, it comes with a typical design with considerable bezels along its four sides. Over at the back, there is a capsule-shaped camera module that houses a single camera sensor and a LED flash.
According to reports, the Huawei MatePad 10.4″ will have a decent 2000 × 1200 pixels screen resolution. It is expected to be driven by an octa-core Kirin 810 SoC which will be coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage space. In its camera compartment, the tablet will be equipped with an 8 megapixels on both its front and back.
Under the hood, there is a massive 7,250mAh battery which could support hours on continuous usage on the go. As usual, it will also be able to carry support for M-pen as well as Bluetooth keyboard as well.
In the Chinese market, the Huawei MatePad 10.4″ is said to carry a price tag of around 2,499 Yuan (US$353).
