Apparently, an unannounced handset dubbed as Motorola Shamu had arrived at GFXBenchmark earlier today. According to rumors, this device with the codename Shamu is actually the upcoming Nexus 6 flagship from Google.
This isn’t surprising since we’d already heard that LG will no longer be manufacturing the Nexus 5 replacement, so Motorola is no doubt one of the best candidate to take up this role.
Sad to say there isn’t much information we can get from the benchmark test, but we do expect it to be powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset – possibly with Android L running out of the box as well. High chances are that the Nexus 6 will have a 1080p display panel instead of the infamous Quad HD panel which has been popularized by the LG G3.
Whatever it is, I’m pretty sure the next 4 months will be an exciting journey for all Android enthusiast out there!
