Upcoming POCO C31 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset

POCO has already confirmed that the company will be launching a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the POCO C31 on September 30th this week. Ahead of it’s launch, the company has apparently jumped the gun by revealing some of it’s key specs on it’s official landing page.

POCO C31 Launch Date

According to POCO, the upcoming POCO C31 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset which is also used in quite a handful of budget-friendly smartphones including it’s own POCO C3 predecessor. This will be coupled with 4GB RAM in the memory department.

As for the rest of the specs, they remain under the wrap at the moment. However, it appears that the phone will share largely similar specs as the POCO C3 except for some minor differences including a beefed up battery size as well as the addition of a fingerprint scanner.

As a quick recap, the POCO C3 comes with a 6.43” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to handle selfie and video call.

In the imaging department, the POCO C3 relies on a triple-cam setup comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. On the software-side, the phone is shipped with MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box.
