It’s already in the news for quite some time that Realme will be launching it’s first tablet – Realme Pad – in the next couple of weeks, possibly on September 9th.
Ahead of it’s unveiling, more information pertaining to the slate has begun to pour out, revealing that the upcoming tablet will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset (via: @KaroulSahil).
If that’s the case, we can well assume that the Realme Pad will be a budget-friendly slate that’s geared towards the lower-end segment of the market, and will hence not be competing against the newly announced Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series tablets.
As a quick recap, the upcoming Realme Pad will reportedly be arriving with an overall dimension measuring 246.1 x 155.8 x 6.8 mm. Based on what we’d seen from it’s CAD-based renderings, the tablet is likely to feature a regular-looking design upfront with seemingly equal-sized bezels surrounding it’s 10.4” display.
On the rear side, the Realme Pad dons a Grey-Black color scheme with some form of understated elegance. Around the upper-left corner of it’s back panel, there’s also a single camera that protrudes slightly from the surface. This camera, according to the latest leaked information, is expected to be an 8 megapixels (f/2.8 aperture) imaging sensor.
Interestingly, the upcoming Realme Pad is also reportedly shipped with a dedicated stylus that can be stored within a rounded slot along the right edge (when in landscape) of the tablet.
