KitKat update for the Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega 6.3

US Cellular has begun rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for 2 of their Samsung handsets namely the Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy Mega 6.3. Currently, this update is available via over-the-air, as well as through Samsung’s own Kies software.

For those updating their device over-the-air, do connect it to your WiFi before downloading the update if you doesn’t want to risk bursting your data usage this month.

This update will bring all the typical KitKat goodies to your smartphone as well as some minor bug fixes and tweaks to improve the performance of your handset. You can find out more about the update here if you’re interested.
