Vivo NEX 3 5G to Debut on September 16

Vivo has officially confirmed today that it will be launching the Vivo NEX 3 5G smartphone in China on Sept. 16. The launch event will be held in Shanghai on the said date. The announcement of the launch date has come just after its appearance on TENAA with full specifications.

The Vivo NEX 3 5G TENAA listing has revealed that the smartphone is fitted with a massive 6.89-inch AMOLED display with extremely curved edges. It supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2256 pixels. The display of the Vivo NEX 3 5G is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint reader.

The 2.96GHz Snapdragon 855+ SoC powers the smartphone along with 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM. Its storage variants are 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. The Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. The handset lacks support for microSD card slot.

The Vivo NEX 3 5G has a 4,410mAh minimum capacity battery. Its typical capacity could be 4,500mAh. The 3C appearance of the phone has revealed that it may arrive with 45W fast charging technology. It will be coming with two front-facing cameras. One of them is a 16-megapixel lens whereas the one could be a sensor for 3D face recognition.  The back panel of the phone has a round-shaped camera housing that has a 48-megapixel primary lens that is assisted by a pair of 13-megapixel lens. The Chinese firm is expected to release non-5G and 5G version of the Vivo NEX 3 smartphone.
