Vivo NEX 3 5G will be Announced in September

For the past few weeks, we’d been hearing a lot about the upcoming Vivo NEX 3 courtesy of Vivo’s Product Manager Li Xiang, who’d shared an official sketch as well as a live image of the device which shows off it’s waterfall display.

Today, Vivo has officially confirmed that the Vivo NEX 3 5G will be officially announced in September next month. Sad to say, no exact date has been given by the Chinese smartphone maker as of now.

However, in the comment section, Vivo made a reply to the company’s product manager Li Xiang with a date “September 1st” which fuels speculations that either the device will be made official on September 1st or it’s official launch date will be unveiled on the day.

As expected, the Vivo NEX 3 will be the second 5G smartphone to be announced by Vivo this year, following the launch of the Vivo iQOO Pro 5G last week.

From what we’d learned so far, the Vivo NEX 3 is expected to be driven by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC under the hood with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

It’s earlier live image also suggests that the Vivo NEX 3 will arrive with an incredible screen-to-body ratio with no top-bezel or waterdrop notch. Hence, the device will very likely be coming with a pop-up selfie camera.
