Vivo Officially Teases the X90 Series Smartphones in the Global Market

The Vivo X90 series smartphones was first announced back in November last year in the Chinese market. Now, it’s likely that the company will soon be launching the much anticipated smartphone series in the global market after Vivo Malaysia posted the first-ever teaser for the devices.

Although the X90 series lineup comprises of three different models such as the vanilla Vivo X90, X90 Pro as well as X90 Pro+, but only the first two models are expected to be heading to the global market, at least for the initial launch which is rumored to take place on January 31st.

Needless to say, the X90 Pro will be the most exciting model between the duo as it brings along a sharp-looking 6.78” QHD AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, 50.3MP triple-cam system, 32MP front-facing camera, 4,870mAh battery as well as 120W fast wired charging support.

As for the vanilla X90, it gets the same 6.78” QHD AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and 120W fast wired charging. However, the differences lies in it’s toned-down camera system which swaps the 50MP periscope camera on the X90 Pro to a 12MP telephoto unit instead.

Likewise, the 50.3MP Sony IMX989 main camera on the X90 Pro was also switched to an older 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor instead. Nonetheless, it does retains OIS stabilization as well as laser autofocus for it’s main unit.
