Vivo has recently confirmed that it will be launching the Vivo S5 smartphone on Nov. 14 in China. Rumors have it that the device will come equipped with a punch-hole display. Now, the company has started reservations of the Vivo S5 Cai Xukun Custom Gif Box Edition through its official website. The image present on the listing reveals that the phone indeed sports a punch-hole display.
Chinese celebrity Cai Xukun is the brand ambassador of the S-series Vivo phones in the home market. The custom gift box image shows that the device will be sold within a big-sized box. It is now up for reservations and its pre-sale will begin at 00:00AM on Nov. 11. The image reveals that the phone will be boasting a high screen-to-body thanks to the punch-hole display design. The top edge of the device has a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone is also equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will be made available for purchase from Nov. 22.
The rear design of the Vivo S5 is not shown yet. However, since it was seen in the hands of Xukun in a promo video for a fashion magazine last month, it was found that it has a diamond-shaped quad camera module with an LED flash below it. Some reports suggest that there could be Vivo S5 Pro phone with notch-less display, pop-up selfie camera and diamond-shaped camera module with three cameras inside it.
