The upcoming Vivo S5 will be officially announced in China on November 14th, later this week. Prior to it’s unveiling, we’d already seen it’s official images and learned about it’s official specs courtesy of it’s TENAA listing.
Today, another pair of official renders of the Vivo S5 has been outed again. This time round, it shows off the device in two different colorways including light blue and purple.
Unlike most of the recent Vivo smartphones we’d seen, the upcoming Vivo S5 will be featuring a unique diamond-shaped camera module on it’s rear panel as seen above. There will be a total of 3 camera sensors and a LED sensor located within the module, as well as another camera sensor located directly below it.
On it’s front panel, it will continue to employ a traditional hole-punched display to house it’s selfie camera.
Vivo S5 Specifications
According to it’s TENAA listing, the Vivo S5 will feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution. It will be driven by a 2.3GHz octa-core SoC, which is likely to be the Snapdragon 712 SoC. In the memory compartment, you can find up to 8GB of RAM and a hefty 256GB onboard storage.
Moving on to it’s camera, the four cameras present on its rear panel will come with a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel configuration. At the front panel, it’s hole-punched compartment will also house a 32 megapixels selfie camera as well.
The device will be fueled by a 4,010mAh battery that is capable of supporting 22.5W fast-charging as revealed by it’s 3C certification.
