Vivo had launched the Vivo S6 5G smartphone at the end of the previous month. The successor of the Vivo S5 phone from last year was made official as the first 5G-ready selfie-centric smartphone from the company. The phone was announced in two models such as 128 GB and 256 GB. On April 3, the Chinese firm began with the sales of the 128 GB variant. From today, it has started with the sales of the 256 GB version.
The 128 GB Vivo S6 5G carries a price tag of 2,698 Yuan ($383). The 256 GB variant that went on sale today in China is priced at 2,998 Yuan ($425). Both models come with 8 GB of RAM. Black, Blue and Blue/White are the three color editions of the Vivo S6 5G. The 256 GB model is not available in Blue version but can be bought in other two color variants.
Vivo S6 5G Specifications
The Vivo S6 5G has a 6.44-inch S-AMOLED display with waterdrop notch. It offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixel and 20:9 aspect ratio. The Exynos 980 chipset powers the phone along with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.
The FunTouch OS 10 based Android 10 OS runs on the Vivo S6 5G smartphone. It has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through USB-C.
The Vivo S6 5G has a 32-megapixel front-mounted camera. On its rear, there is a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (macro) quad camera system.
