Vivo S6 5G officially announced with Exynos 980 SoC & 48MP quad-cameras

Vivo S6 5G Specifications

First and foremost, the Vivo S6 5G employs a dewdrop-notch AMOLED display that comes with a FHD+ screen resolution. It’s front display is integrated with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and there will be an impressive 32 megapixels selfie camera housed within the dewdrop compartment.

Over on the flip-side, the circular camera module features a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as 2 megapixels depth sensor.

Under the hood, the Vivo S6 5G is driven by an octa-core Exynos 980 SoC which is capable of supporting 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. This is in fact the same chip which was found in both the Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro as well.

Moreover, there will also be 8GB worth of RAM as well as an option between 128GB/ 256GB onboard storage space. Sadly, the device doesn’t support any form of memory expansion.

The Vivo S6 5G will be fueled by a 4,500mAh battery which supports up to 18W fast-charging. On the software-side, it will run on the latest FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10.

Vivo S6 5G Pricing

In the Chinese market, the Vivo S6 5G is priced at 2,698 Yuan (US$381/ INR28,740) and 2,998 Yuan (US$423/ INR31,930) for its 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models respectively.
