Vivo S6 5G Confirms Round Shaped Rear Camera Module, Reservations Begin

Vivo S6 5G phone will be announced on March 31. Ahead of the launch, the company is gradually teasing on the design of the phone. The new posters of the phone that have rolled out today reveals that it has a round-shaped camera module on its back. Also, the smartphone is now up for reservations in the home market.

Vivo has appointed Liu Haoran, a well-known Chinese actor as the spokesperson for the Vivo S6 5G phone. The two poster showcases the color gradient rear panel of the phone. The back panel of the phone seems to be made out of 3D curved glass.

While the S-series is expected to deliver impressive selfie shooting experience, it appears the rear cameras of S6 5G will be also good at photography. The rear shell of the phone has a round-shaped camera module. It houses as many as four cameras. An LED flash can be seen on the right side of the circular camera housing.

Vivo S6 5G Reservations Listing on JD

At present, there is no word on the specifications of the smartphone. A leaked photo of the frontside of the phone that had appeared last week revealed that the phone is equipped with dual punch-hole screen. It is speculated that it may feature the same 32-megapixel lens that was available on the predecessor Vivo S5 phone. It could be accompanied by an ultrawide shooter.

It is believed that the Vivo V1962BA phone that was recently approved by the 3C authority of China could be the forthcoming Vivo S6 5G phone. The 3C appearance o the smartphone had revealed that it is a 5G phone that could be coming with an 18W fast charger. Some rumors have claimed that the Vivo S6 5G could be drawing power from the Exynos 980 chipset which fueled the Vivo X30 series last year. Other speculations suggest that it could be driven by the Snapdragon 765G SoC.
