Vivo will be announcing the Vivo S6 5G smartphone on March 31 in China. It will be the first S-series selfie-focused phone from the company to arrive with 5G capabilities. It is believed that the Vivo V1962BA phone that was approved by the 3C authority of China could be the Vivo S6 5G smartphone. Now, the Vivo V1962BA phone along with its network variant V1962A has received approval from China’s TENAA telecom authority through which its entire specifications have been revealed.

The Vivo V1962BA/A Vivo S6 5G smartphone features 6.44-inch AMOLED display that produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The TENAA listing of the phone lacks its images. However, a leaked image of the phone that had appeared in the previous week had suggested that it has a dual punch-hole display. The pill-shaped cutout on the screen could be housing as many as two cameras. The TENAA listing reveals that the Vivo S6 5G has a 32-megapixel front camera. Probably, it does not mention the details of the secondary lens.
The rear side of the Vivo S6 5G features 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera setup. As the company confirmed, the phone will be housing these sensors inside a round-shaped module. Like the predecessor Vivo S5, the upcoming S-series phone features an in-screen fingerprint reader.
The Vivo S6 5G is fueled by 2.2GHz octa-core processor and 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM. The phone offers users with 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. There is a microSD card slot for more storage.
The Vivo S6 5G houses a minimum rate battery of 4,390mAh battery which is coupled with fast charging technology. Based on 3C certification it can be said that it could be carrying support for 18W fast charging. The device measures 161.16 x 74.66 x 8.68mm and it weighs 181 grams.
