For the past few days, we’d been overloaded with information pertaining to the upcoming Vivo S6 5G. Yesterday, we’d already seen a pair of alleged live shots of the device, and had also gained confirmation that the device will be driven by a 5G-enabled Exynos 980 SoC.
Right now, Vivo has also released an official promo video of the Vivo S6 5G which officially affirmed the front and rear design of the handset. Similar to what we’d seen from the purported live images yesterday, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a conventional dewdrop-notch display on it’s front panel. The dewdrop-notch will be equipped with a decent 20 megapixels selfie camera.
On the flip-side, that’s where we things get more interesting. The Vivo S6 5G will feature a circular camera module which reminds us of the newly announced Redmi K30 Pro. This huge module is home to a quad-camera setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
According to it’s official TENAA listing, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a 6.44-inches AMOLED display which encompasses a 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the device will have up to 8GB of RAM and as much as 256GB onboard storage space which is further expandable with a microSD slot.
To keep its lights on, there will be a hefty 4,400mAh battery which is expected to support up to 18W fast-charging. On the software-side, the device should boot on the latest FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10.
For those who’re interested, the Vivo S6 5G will be officially announced on March 31.
