Vivo had launched the Vivo S6 5G as one of its 5G-ready mid-range smartphones in China in March. The handset received a stupendous response as the company confirmed last month that it sold one million units in just two months. The promo materials of the upcoming Vivo S7 5G appeared on Weibo recently. It did not reveal any specs but hinted that the Chinese brand may go official soon. Today, a leakster took to Weibo to share the key specs of the device.
Before going into the details of the new leak, it would be worthwhile to know what another leakster had revealed about the Vivo S7 5G. The leak had revealed that the Vivo S7 5G will continue to sport an attractive design like the predecessor S-series phones from the brand. However, the major focus again will be on the selfie camera of the smartphone.
The handset is expected to sport a high-resolution front camera with a largest aperture. Also, it will be the thinnest module compared to the currently available modules. It is speculated that Vivo wants the Vivo S7 5G to become a benchmark when it comes to capturing selfie shots. It is likely to come with software enhancements too for better selfie shooting experience. Also, it will be arriving as lightest selfie flagship phone.

Coming to the latest information, a Chinese tipster has revealed the key details of the smartphone. The leak reveals that the device will weigh only 170 grams and it will support 5G connectivity through the Snapdragon 765G chipset.
The Vivo S7 5G will feature the same screen that is available on the OPPO Reno4. Hence, it appears that the Vivo S7 5G will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with dual punch-hole design. Finally coming to the selfie camera, the handset is expected to house a dual selfie camera setup featuring a 44-megapixel Samsung GH1 lens and an 8-megpixel Hynix Hi846 ultrawide lens.
The backside of the device will have a triple camera setup featuring a 64-mgeapixel Samsung GW1 main lens, an 8-megpixel Hynix Hi846 ultrawide lens and a 13-mgeapixel Samsung portrait lens. The tipster has speculated that the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions of the smartphone will be at 2,998 Yuan and 3,298 Yuan, respectively.
