Previously, there were rumors that Vivo will be launching a new upper mid-ranger smartphone known as the Vivo S9 on March 6th. Right now, there are new rumors about the existence of a more affordable model known as the Vivo S9e which is expected to launch after the Vivo S9.
Unlike the Vivo S9 which is rumored to be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, the Vivo S9e settles for a Dimensity 820 chipset instead. Other than that, the device is also tipped to feature a 6.44-inches AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate upfront.
In the camera department, the Vivo S9e is likely to sport a triple-camera setup lead by a 64 megapixels primary shooter. This will be accompanied by a 32 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes. To keep its lights on, the device relies on a respectable 4,100mAh battery which carries support for 33W flash charging.
Just like the current Vivo S7, some of the upcoming S9 series smartphones may arrive in the global market under the V series branding. In the coming days and weeks, we can expect to hear more about these devices so stay with us for more updates!
